Dr. Ebrahim Yazdi, a founding member of the MSA and IMANA, was apparently detained by the Iranian government. ISNA, North America's largest Muslim organization, has called for the immediate release of all journalists and human rights activists. It is unclear whether Yazdi is still under arrest, or if he has been released into a hospital on medical grounds.
